D.O. La Mancha
The weather plays an important role in the quality of this La Mancha terroir and the wines from El Vínculo. The region is subject to more sun, more heat, and less moisture, but the same cold that holds the more northerly Castilian lands. La Mancha boasts an extreme continental climate, where freezing winters give way, almost without transition, to very hot summers; up to 45ºC in summer and -15°C in winter with over three thousand hours of direct sunlight every year.
The first Grupo Pesquera white wine is made from 100 per cent Airén grapes and aged in oak barrels for 24 months. A wine with huge potential, it improves and becomes more rounded over time in the bottle. The grapes are grown on sandy soils, affording them unprecedented quality.
