ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ’S NEW WINES TRIUMPH IN WINE SPECTATOR
Tinto Pesquera Millenium 2009, Alenza Gran Reserva 2009 and Condado de Haza 2015 passed Thomas Matthews’ tasting and technical exam with flying colours and were referred to as exceptional wines with character and superior style.
This latest admiration for the quality of Bodegas Grupo Pesquera’s new vintages came from the US via the world’s most prestigious wine magazine, Wine Spectator. The following iconic Ribera del Duero wines were given excellent scores by the publication: Tinto Pesquera Millenium and Alenza 2009, scored 94 and 93 points, respectively. In addition, Condado de Haza Crianza, debuting its 2015 vintage, scored 90 points in the much-valued rating and was one of the Spanish Best Value Reds owing to its excellent value for money.
