El Vínculo Reserva wins Gold Medal at CWSA
Alejandro Fernández’s La Mancha bodega has reasons to celebrate. Its wine, El Vínculo Reserva 2007, won a Gold Medal at the China Wines and Spirits Awards (CWSA) 2016. The award was given based on the wine’s quality and excellent merits in the face of stiff competition from more than 55 countries from around the world. This new recognition is in addition to the 93 points awarded by the Guía Repsol 2015.
The CWSA is a prestigious international blind-tasting event held yearly in Hong Kong. The competition boasts a jury of 100 prescriptors, as well as the most famous and influential importers, merchants, sommeliers and hoteliers in the whole of China. With a potential market of 75 million bottles of wine and spirits per year, the CWSA has become one of the most influential international wine competition.
