Alejandro Fernández treats Swiss and German journalists to fine dining and wine tasting


Taking advantage of their tour of DO Ribera del Duero, Alejandro Fernández invited fifteen German and Swiss journalists to a exquisite dinner held at Hotel Pesquera AF in Peñafiel. The evening was furnished with a select menu in which cod and roast shoulder of lamb were the most sought after fare. In addition, the prestigious winemaker, as any good host would, paired the meal with some of his very best Grupo Pesquera wines.

The visit formed part of a return trade mission organised by the DO’s Regulating Council in response to the prescriptors’ interest in meeting internationally renowned ambassador and promoter of wines from DO Ribera del Duero, Alejandro Fernández, in person, and their desire to discover his bodegas and wines first-hand.
