The Pesquera Group travels to India
Following
its expansion policy in emerging markets,
the Group begins its presence in the Asian
country through the firm Shervick Services
Ltd
A few days ago took place the first presentation —two
more are scheduled— at the
city of Delhi, with Lucía Fernández
and Agustín Goytre representing
the Pesquera Group. They had the opportunity
of visiting the best hotels and restaurants
in the capital, getting a very positive
response from the purchasing managers of
these establishments.
They also were able to verify that wine
consumption in India, although limited
to a small minority, is increasing quickly
and is expected to reach a remarkable volume
in a few years.
Teresa Solbes, Commercial Advisor at the
Spanish Embassy, attended the presentation
of the wines from the Pesquera Group, together
with a number of businessmen from diverse
areas, journalists and sommeliers. All
them stressed the outstanding quality of
the wines made by the Group and predicted
their brilliant future in that country.
With two more presentations scheduled
(Goa in August and Bangalore in September),
the Pesquera Group shows once again its
exporting vocation, with its wines present
nowadays in fifty countries. |
