WINE CELEBRATION in Puerto Rico

The ‘Fine
Wine Celebration’, the most important
date in the Caribbean wine market, takes
place every year at San Juan de Puerto Rico,
in the Ball Room of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel,
Spa & Casino. Prestigious wineries from
around the world exhibit their best wines
for the benefit of the Puerto Rican aficionados.
In San Juan, in the ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton
Hotel, Spa & Casino, we celebrate every
year the ‘Fine Wine Celebration’
the most important event of the world of
wine in the Caribbean region. In this event
the most prestigious winery of the whole
world expose its products, to the relish
of the numerous Puerto Rico inhabitants,
which are wine lovers.
During the seventh edition, that took place
last weekend, almost one thousand people
had enjoyed about 400 different wines and
liqueurs produced by 35 wineries from France,
United States, Chile, Australian, Italy
and Spain, among other countries. On that
occasion, the takings collected (95$ a person)
will support the S.E.R. (Education and Rehabilitation
Society of Puerto Rico).
Naturally, the wines from Pesquera Corp.
had to participate of the gathering, and
there they were: Pesquera Crianza 2002,
l Vínculo 2002, Condado de Haza Reserva
2000 and Dehesa de la Granja 2000.
They were all warmly welcomed by the experts
and wine lovers in Puerto Rico, but the
Pesquera, the Condado de Haza and the Dehesa
La Granja had stood out for their ripeness.
The presence of the Alejandro Fernández
wines at the ‘Fine Wine Celebration’
was a teaser to what the famous wine maker
will present in Puerto Rico very soon.
